Community Building Services (CBS) is proud to serve Utah’s underserved communities by empowering and creating culturally vibrant spaces for youth and families. This summer, the Steering Cultural Management Committee (SCMC) of CBS is thrilled to host our annual Teej Cultural Celebration on Saturday, August 23, 2025, Time: 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the South Salt Lake Community Center Auditorium (2530 S 400 E), and we would love to partner with you as an event sponsor!
This exciting cultural gathering will bring together over 300 local attendees to celebrate arts, identity, and community through music, dance, food, and more. The event will feature international performing artists such as Ashish Aviral, and local CBS artists from our community dance studio. The community is filled with excitement and pride as neighbors, families, and friends come together to celebrate their shared heritage and vibrant diversity, feeling empowered, more connected with broader communities and resources, and ultimately fostering deeper integration. Attendees will also have the opportunity to interact, share their cultural values and heritage, and learn from one another in a spirit of mutual respect and celebration. This is an opportunity for our community to come together to feel connected and supported.
